It is our pleasure to announce that eight new members have joined the Editorial Board of Neurointervention. To globalize our journal to an international level, I invited new members from nationalities outside of Korea. I am deeply grateful to these new members who have accepted our invitation even though our journal is just beginning.

All eight new members have made significant achievements in the neurointervention field. It would be difficult to fully demonstrate their excellence in the field of neurointervention in one short paragraph each. Clearly, their experience and passion for neurointervention ensure that the new editors will strengthen the base of expertise among our editorial board as well as help provide the additional support necessary for the timely processing and review of submissions.

I would also like to thank the existing editors who recommended these new members to me. Without their thoughtful recommendations, it would have been very difficult to invite appropriate new members to our journal.

We are honored to introduce Ronit Agid, Tommy Andersson, Harry J. Cloft, Hiro Kiyosue, Seon-Kyu Lee, Jianmin Liu, Yasushi Matsumoto, and George Kwok-Chu Wong.

Ronit Agid, M.D., Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in Medical Imaging at the University of Toronto and a staff interventional and diagnostic neuroradiologist in the Department of Medical Imaging at Toronto Western Hospital.
