Abstract |
Intracranial pial arteriovenous fistulas (AVFs) are uncommon, high-flow connection between an artery and a vein without an intervening nidus, vascular lesions treated using endovascular approach with a variety of embolic materials.
To our knowledge, hyperperfusion syndrome as a result of embolization of pial AVFs has not been reported before. We report our experience in the treatment of high-flow pial AVF using detachable coils and hyperperfusion syndrome after coil embolization. |
